Before going to the pub for my well-deserved half-a-pint I have glanced at my homepage, which is Yahoo!, and my attention has been immediately glued to this piece of news: Unlocking The Internet Of The Future (it's no more on Yahoo! (12.05.08), but I found the article elsewhere). It made me dig the said internet and I found an enormous amount of resources, which all point to the fact that we are all going to face the Grid very soon! The development of the new technologies in this area had advanced a lot during past 10 years or less and most of us did not take notice of all those Grid portals posting their news hence the announcement in the mainstream media is quite a pleasant shock. Just read "The Cloud and The New Utility Companies" article to get an idea of how the world is going to change in a decade! Fantastic!!
